The undisputed super middleweight champion is coming out of a loss. This has made him more dangerous like an injured lion. He faced Bivol at 175lbs so before going into the ring, he has to bring his weight to 168lbs because GGG is challenging him for his undisputed title. This is why he is working a lot to cut his weight which is the first and utmost important requirement of the fight.
Before this Canelo and GGG had met twice. Both times, they fought at 160 lbs. This is the first time in his entire career when GGG is going up in weight class to meet Canelo.
