Two parks in Ottawa are being considered for the placement of an outdoor fitness area. City Commissioner Marla Pearson says the National Fitness Campaign is providing $50,000 and the city’s putting in another $42,350. She told the city council last night, it’ll go at either Eastside Park or Lincoln-Douglas Park.
Ottawa already has an outdoor fitness center at Walsh Park. Pearson says the new one will feel like an upgrade.
